History

An in house composer for LBS – Commercial writing music for TV commercials until 1992, scored several 30sec wonders, including Zanussi, Trebor, Balsito, Sanatogen, Cadbury’s, Canon, Heman, whilst also recording about a million others.

Turned freelance in 1993 writing for among others, Red Hot Music, scoring K’nex, and Travelcare (voiceover by the then very unfamous Ricky Gervais).

Several theme tunes for Anglia TV in this period, including three series of Family Confidential, the first docu-soap.

Following the shows at Anglia TV, scored several SURVIVAL wildlife documentaries for director Caroline Brett, an on-going partnership. Recently scored the documentary “The Pearl Divers of Bahrain”.

Success with the SURVIVAL documentaries introduced commissions from others, including Spine Chillers for Granada Wild.

An ongoing relationship has been formed with 2x academy award winning composer AR. Rahman, which began whilst working on the musical “Bombay Dreams” (prod. Lloyd-Webber.) following this was mixing the title track from the Hindi film “Kisna”, and then the stage version of “The Lord of the Rings”.

Several projects have meant working abroad in India, Canada, New York, Finland, Germany, Russia and South Korea, working with many many talented musicians from around the world.
